The town centre lies just 1.5 km away and offers many shopping and entertainment venues. The nearest sandy public beach is approximately 2 km away. Right on the beach itself lies the beach club reserved for guests of the Caribe and Port Aventura hotels. Here, guests will find 7 pool and various restaurants. The Universal Studio Port Aventura theme park is some 1 km from the complex. Facilities: This hotel is surrounded uniquely beautiful scenery at the gates of the Port Aventura theme park. It comprises a total of 497 rooms in 14 low-rise buildings grouped around a lake. It offers a unique, extensive, tropical paradise with 4 pools, a kids' club, a spa area and entertainment options. Guests can relax with a cocktail in the hand in a sun lounger by the lake whilst the children enjoy the numerous entertainment options. The hotel also offers complimentary shuttle to and free entrance to the Beach Club. Rooms: The rooms are air-conditioned in the summer and heated in the winter. They are equipped with a bathroom with hairdryer, a telephone, satellite TV, Internet access, a mini fridge and either a balcony or a terrace. The standard rooms are suitable for a maximum of 4 persons (3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children). The Club San Juan was developed for lovers of luxury and good taste. It offers 27 junior suites with wireless Internet access, a safe, a minibar, air conditioning and heating, a king-size or 2 twin beds as well as a bathroom with a hairdryer, bathtub with a spa bath and a separate shower. The Club also offers a separate and exclusive reception area, a restaurant with outdoor terrace (à la carte breakfast and lunch), a private pool area, room service, a daily newspaper, the Port Aventura Express Premium Card, a DVD player in all rooms and much more. Sports/Entertainment: Guests have free and unlimited access to the Port Aventura Park as well as to the Caribe Aquatic Park (only in the low season, in the high season each guest receives 1 x free access per stay). The complex offers 4 outdoor pools, one of which has a white sand area. Guests also have free entrance to the spa centre with its heated pool, fully equipped gym, spa pool and sauna and may also take advantage of the spa treatments. Further facilities include the beach football and volleyball pitches, a 1.5 km jogging trail and an outdoor chess set. The Campo Aventure kids' club offers enough to keep the younger guests between 4 and 12 years busy. A daytime and evening entertainment programme provides amusement for guests. Meals: The Puerto Viejo Restaurant offers seafood specialities. The La Piazza Restaurant has à la carte service and the El Bohio is a buffet restaurant with breakfast and half-board options. Drinks and snacks are served in the Mango Bongo and Cayo Levantado bars. It is also possible to enjoy the Salsa Cafe and the La Bodeguita del Medio bodega.
